A wonderfully crafted book that entwines trauma with humor. The author does a very good job at bringing you into his world as he navigates finding true love and how to keep it whilst dealing with the demons of his past.
It's an emotional rollercoaster ride that confronts the dirty sick secrets of society whilst one tries to heal from them to find what everybody deserves.... love

This book I read in 5 days on a cruise during Christmas, I could not put it down and I'm not a reader! Such a heart felt, honest, raw, cheeky and funny read, I've talked my husband into reading it in the hope it gets him back into reading. Get a copy, you won't be disappointed.
I hope there will be more books to come from this author 🙏

What an awesome read! Tarzan Loves Jane had me hooked from the first page — a perfect blend of sadness and humour that kept me laughing one minute and tearing up the next. The characters were so vivid and real, I felt like I was right there with them. I couldn’t put it down and ended up reading the whole thing in one sitting. Absolutely unforgettable

Tarzan loves Jane. It’s a deeply moving and deeply disturbing tale of the devastating and long-term effects of childhood abuse. But more than that, it speaks to the human need for connection and love with the message that everyone deserves love. The rich cast of characters are deeply developed and support the main character in the weaving of this tale. The writing style is raw and real to the point that I thought I was reading a memoir. The subject of sexual abuse can be triggering to some readers. The author handled the healing process with its starts, stops, and regressions very well in the story.. as a therapist, I love the use of narrative therapy to treat his past abuse.
Overall, if sexual abuse, suicidal ideation’s or mental health issues are not triggers for you. I would highly recommend this book

This book is an open, honest and inspiring portrayal of mental health and lived experience. It is equal parts confronting, light hearted, romantic and leaves you feeling like you want to read more. I highly recommend it but would give fair warning to readers who may struggle with mental health or have past experience of traumatic events. I found the book truly enlightening and an inspiring journey showcasing one man’s determination to do better, be better and see the world and himself better.
